You might find it strange because the
weather is so nice and hot, that autumn and winter are just around the
corner. In a few months we will be in
the cold weather again.
So now is the time to overhaul your winter
wardrobe. Shops are imminently bringing
in the next season’s trends. Layered
clothing is still going to be fashionable as well as a warm way to dress the
next season again.
What about footwear? Have your boots seen better days; if so this
year you may consider buying bumper boots. These are not the cheapest in
the market place, but if you want a chic Italian look, they are definitely
worth investigating. If your boots are
on their last legs, as it were, then it is time to part with them and try and
source a new pair.
This is easily done by going on the
internet. If you are early you will have
the pick of the bunch before stockists run out of the most stylish examples.
The boots being sold by this designer house
are all flats. Flats are a much better
option in the wet and snow and flat footwear has been trending this summer and
this trend is going to continue throughout the coming autumn and winter months
too.
The reason that these boots are dear is
that they are all made out of leather with a leather lining. The soles absorb shock because they are air
cushioned and the toe has been reinforced to an orthopaedic standard.
Apart from this there are some really
attractive animal prints available as well as plain colours. These boots are either knee high or mid-calf
length.
We are becoming an ever more health conscious
society. This is seen in the food we
eat, the more exercise we take and the health warnings about smoking and
excessive alcohol intake. But we do not
think twice about how we treat our feet.
A recent study has shown that high heels
are really bad for our feet. Perhaps
this is why flat heeled shoes are now so popular. Over time we will see deformities of our
feet. The Achilles tendon does also get
shortened over time, to the point that we cannot even wear flat shoes
comfortably anymore. Other ailments are
the forming of bunions and hammer toes.
These are all directly related to the shortening of the Achilles tendon.
Shoe manufacturers are not likely to stop
producing high heels, but recently we have seen that increasingly the designers
are incorporating features within the structure of the footwear that are a
healthy option. This includes as already
mentioned above, air cushioning to lessen the impact of footfall when walking
and the widening and strengthening the toe cap area to allow the toes room to
wiggle about. Some of them do also have
an instep support which will let us wear our shoes with comfort throughout the
day.
You will find a selection of bumper boots on line at wahwahshoes.co.uk.
